The Beginning
Founded in 2004, Rockbrook Montessori Academy first opened in Lewisville, TX. Inspired by the Montessori method, We used our love for caring for children to serve the community with a roster of experienced Montessori teachers.
Growth and Expansion
With ambition and determination, Rockbrook Montessori blossomed into a leading Montessori school for children, delivering an authentic Montessori education with children from the ages of 6 weeks all the way to 6 years.
After a successful start in Lewisville, a second campus was built and opened in Valley Ranch in 2009. It proved to be a rewarding endeavor, serving the Valley Ranch neighborhoods from the intersection of Ranch Trail and Ranch view. In 2012, Rockbrook was expanded to a third campus in Flower Mound, providing an ideal learning environment in a beautiful green setting. Light Farms Montessori, a sister school was opened in 2017 taking the same attention to care the growing community of Light Farms in celina.
Our Culture
Throughout the years, we have been able to spread our love for educating children to different communities around Dallas while maintaining the basic Montessori methods for developing academic, practical, and social skills. Although we have expanded physically, our culture and core principles have remained the same as when we started. As teachers, our children’s interest and well-being is our highest priority. We understand the importance of these formative years and closely monitor the children’s academic and social progress.
We take pride in the fact that our children learn to be upstanding citizens while immersed in an innovative and challenging academic environment. We, at Rockbrook, have been fortunate to see our graduates benefit from our Montessori teaching, as they are consistently inducted into the Gifted and Talented programs in Elementary and Middle schools and win a number of academic accolades. We love to hear of the successes of our former students and hope to continue our passion for many years to come.
